Synopsis
Istanbul is a city which lay downs on two continens. Ferries connects two sides of this city and used as means of transportation through the history. In 2006, the municipality of Istanbul started a poll in which different models of ferries were voted by city dwellers. At the end of this poll, voters have chosen the 4th model among the candiates. This documentary starts with this campaign and ends with the first voyage of the new ferry. This documentary doesn’t only portrays the shipbuilding process in docks, but also shed light the history of sea transportation of Istanbul.
